Your data stays in your Apple ecosystem
Your information is stored locally on your device and synced using Apple’s iCloud services.
No ads, no trackers
We don’t use third‑party advertising SDKs or tracking-based analytics profiles.
You stay in control
You can edit, export, or delete your data anytime from within the app.
How your data is stored
FinyxFin stores your data in two places:
- On your device, inside the app’s local database.
- In your iCloud account, using Apple’s sync infrastructure to keep your data consistent across devices.
We do not operate our own servers for storing your financial data. Your information stays within your Apple ecosystem (your devices + iCloud).
What data you store
FinyxFin stores only the information you enter, such as:
- Accounts and balances
- Income & expense transactions
- Bills, loans/EMIs, and payment history
- Budgets and spending categories
- Investments, instruments, and lots
- Financial goals and progress
- Notes, tags, and attachments (e.g., receipts)
All of this remains associated with your device and (if enabled) your Apple ID’s iCloud storage.
iCloud sync
FinyxFin uses iCloud sync to keep your data consistent across your Apple devices.
- Sync is handled by Apple’s iCloud services.
- Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple’s iCloud protections.
- We cannot access, read, or modify your iCloud data.
- You can manage FinyxFin’s iCloud storage from: Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → FinyxFin.
Security
Your privacy and security rely on Apple’s built-in protections:
- Device-level encryption and secure enclave protections
- Face ID / Touch ID / passcode on supported devices
- iCloud encryption for synced data
- No third-party ad SDKs
If you enable an in‑app lock (where supported), it adds another layer of protection on top of device security.
Imports & exports
You can import and export data directly from your device:
- Import from CSV or other supported formats
- Export accounts, transactions, budgets, investments, and more
All import and export processing happens locally. Files are only saved or shared to locations you choose (e.g., Files app, iCloud Drive, email, AirDrop). We never receive copies of your exported files.
Permissions
FinyxFin may request access to:
- iCloud — to sync your data across devices
- Notifications — reminders for bills, goals, and events (optional)
- Files / Photos — to attach receipts or import/export data (optional)
- Apple Reminders — if you enable reminders integration (optional)
You can change permissions anytime from your device Settings.
Payments & subscriptions
If you purchase Premium features, payments are processed by Apple (App Store / StoreKit). We do not collect your credit card details.
Apple may provide us limited purchase information needed to unlock features on your devices (for example, purchase status), but not your full payment details.
Your rights & control
You stay in control of your financial data:
- View and edit all information inside the app
- Delete individual records (accounts, transactions, etc.)
- Export data for your own backups or reporting
- Remove synced data by deleting FinyxFin’s iCloud storage (see iCloud section)
We do not sell data. We do not share your financial records with advertisers.
